Upcoming Quarterly Tribal Consultation

Medicaid's next Tribal Consultation quarterly meeting will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. ​The meeting will be hosted at Molina Healthcare Omaha Resource Center, 3301 Harney St, Omaha, NE 68131. Virtual attendance is available at https://sonvideo.webex.com/meet/jessie.edwards​.

Nebraska Medicaid is committed to collaborating with the four Federally recognized Tribes in Nebraska: the Omaha, Ponca, Santee Sioux, and Winnebago​. This partnership aims to ensure that members who are affiliated with the tribes have access to comprehensive healthcare services while incorporating each Tribe's cultural needs.​

Medicaid & Long-Term Care (MLTC) has a dedicated tribal liaison who is the point of contact for Nebrasks'a Tribes and their Medicaid Members. ​Our liaison provides important information and updates through outreach with the Tribes.​​

​Tribal Consultations​

MLTC meets on a quarterly basis with representatives of the Tribes, the CMS Native American contact, the MCO tribal liaisons, as well as other organizations that serve Nebraska Medicaid beneficiaries. These meetings are a place for all parties to work collaboratively and discuss relevant Medicaid/CHIP matters that impact the Tribes and Tribal members. 

​​Monthly Meetings

The monthly meetings are separate from tribal consultations and are a place for providers to resolve their questions and concerns about the program with Nebraska Medicaid.​
