This includes determining eligibility, providing service coordination for eligible people, monitoring services, and paying providers.

DDD also oversees programs for people who have special health care needs. ​

Family Support Waiver - Submitted to CMS​​

DHHS – Division of Developmental Disabilities plans to implement a new 1915(c) Home and Community Based (HCBS) Family Support Waiver. After two public comment periods, it was submitted to CMS on October 25, 2023. For more information, including the submitted version, visit the Public Comment webpage​.​
